The National Coalition of Assistive Rehabilitation Technology is a group of suppliers and manufacturers of complex rehabilitation equipment working together to ensure individuals have adequate access to Complex Rehab Technology products and supporting services. The small but agile group at NCART possess diverse professional backgrounds allowing them to work collaboratively with all decision makers throughout the CRT equipment selection process. From consumers, to physicians, clinicians and federal/state policy makers, the group works to establish and protect coverage, coding, supplier standards and funding policies.

As a wheelchair user, we know that a proper fitting chair can literally grant us access to life altering opportunities, independence and freedom that could have at one point been just a dream; where as if that adjustment is off by an inch or a wheel falls off we are literally left lifeless. These often “small things” are overlooked, unseen and taken for granted by others.
